A large project consisting of more than 100,000 words is broken down into smaller units which are managed as mini-projects and delivered to a translation team.
The project manager ensures that the final deliverable is adequate to the target audience.
The work of each mini-project is managed by a project manager and is supported by a language team.
The language team supports the work of each translation team assuring quality and consistency to all the material translated.
The coordinator ensures quality and consistency
to the team's work by reviewing the files translated in his project.
He is also responsible for task assignment, schedules,
and management of his translation team.
Translation teams are interconnected by the coordinators who report to the project manager who oversees several min-projects.
Translation teams are work-groups that are responsible for their assignments from the beginning to the end of the translation work.
Each team consists of a variable number of translators (2-5) and one coordinator.
